Office Visits

What to expect at your first appointment — a conversation, a thorough exam, and a plan built around you.

Office Visits

Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high-quality dental care. We understand that you—or your child—may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.

"Your first visit is all about you — your comfort, your happiness, and your health."

Your First Appointment

During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms and take X-rays of your teeth and mouth. Then, Dr. Song will meet with you to discuss your X-rays, perform a hard/soft tissue exam, help you create your individual treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have.

We want to gain the most accurate understanding of you and your oral health so that we can discuss all the information necessary for you to decide on a course of treatment best suited to your needs and desires. Sometimes we schedule a second visit to clean your teeth and discuss the results of the examination further.

What to Bring

  • Your completed patient information form (sent via text or email in advance; please arrive 15 minutes early if not yet completed)
  • Your insurance card
  • A list of any current medications

Regular Checkups

The American Dental Association recommends visiting your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy. We understand you have a busy schedule, and we work hard to keep appointments running on time.
